Hello! Welcome to my Close to My Heart website. I am an Independent Consultant and absolutely LOVE what I do! I teach people how to use scrapbooking and stamping as a way to preserve memories and create beautiful cards that are more heartfelt than store bought cards. When it comes from the heart, it shows!
I can't believe almost TWO years have gone by since I joined Close to My Heart. I have grown in so many ways: creatively, as a leader, as a person. I have also made many new friends! My team (I have a team!!) is at ELEVEN members, and they are awesome ladies. I would like to have more! I have found out that I really enjoy training people in how to take advantage of the unique opportunities that CTMH offers. There are few direct sales jobs that allow you to create and share that creativity like CTMH does. I can see the impact CTMH has had on my customers, how they love to coordinate their pages for a more cohesive look, and how much they love building a library of tools that they can use over and over again.
I have now been a Work At Home Mom for a month and a half, having quit my teaching job to run my CTMH business full time. IT IS AWESOME!!! I have more time with my family and more time to create and attend to my customers. I have one-on-one time with my almost 3-year old son for the first time and he and I LOVE it!
I offer several different types of services. Choose the one that works best for you!
Gatherings: This is my most requested service. I come to your house and show you and your friends how to best use our products for your projects. I can teach you card making techniques, layouts from the most basic to wowie, or stamping techniques with our incredible My Acrylix stamps. I customize each gathering to your needs! I can also hold your gathering in my house if you would prefer.
Workshops: I offer monthly workshops based on what I see my customers asking about during gatherings, and this is a more structured class that I hold in my home. I can hold a workshop in your home instead of a traditional gathering, just ask! Some of the projects we have completed so far are pictured in the My Art section of the website. Check them out!
Hostess Clubs: This is really cool! Club members commit to a certain number of months, and place an order each month so one of the members collects hostess rewards. In return, I teach a two hour class: layouts, cards, altered items, etc, FREE! Are you and some friends interested in building your CTMH supply in bite size pieces? Then a hostess club is just what you need!
Projects by mail: All of my workshops are available by mail. The cost remains the same as attending the workshop, plus $5.00 for shipping. Email me with the project you'd like sent to your house, and you will receive the level 2 paper pack, a full color brochure with directions, My Stickease, and other embellishments based on the project, and support by phone if you need me! Some of your friends interested as well? No problem! I'll send you a workshop in a box and you can get together and complete the project yourselves. Prices vary but start at $20.00.
One-on-One coaching: Do you have a project in mind but can't get going? Need help completing cards or scrapbooks? Call me! I am available for one-on-one coaching just for you. I will come over to your house and help you through to completion. Cost? Materials only, if any! I am here to help you find your inner creativity and unbottle your potential!
Catalog Party: If you just don't have time for a workshop or a gathering, let's do a catalog party! I will send you everything you need to spread the word to your friends that you are having a party, and in this way help you to earn our incredibly generous hostess rewards without setting aside a whole evening.
Customized Scrapbooks: Love the look and idea of scrapbooks but simply don't have the time? I can help you out. I can create for you any type of scrapbook project, from a 20 page 12 x 12 album, to a 6 x 6 accordion album, or somewhere in between.
